    Itinerary

    Day 1Marrakech - Zagora

    Morning departure from your hotel or riad through the High Atlas Mountains and the famous Tizi -n – Tichka (2260m) From these mountains, the view of the valleys and the Berber towns scattered on the sides of mountains, sometimes hardly distinguishable from mountains, they are spectacular. After crossing the pass, we’ll keep on until Ouarzazate, where you stop for lunch. From that point you cross another pass smaller, Tizi – n – Tinfifite, before reaching the Valley Dra’a to Agdez. We go along the way of the ancient caravans between the mountains and the river, going through numerous towns and orchard. So you can understand the idea and the way of life along the oasis. You then reach Zagora, where you will have a camel ride to watch the dusk and dinner in the dunes at the camp of nomad tents to spend the night.

    Day 2Zagora - Marrakech

    If you get up early you’ll see the dawn, you will appreciate the excellent beauty of the shadows on the sand. After breakfast you will return to the north, taking another short path. From Ouarzazate, you’ll depart to Marrakech, reach first the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou. This Kasbah, the most popular of Morocco, was utilized as a backdrop for many Hollywood blockbusters and has been a standout amongst the most imperative fortifications on the old convoy route of Salt, where traders brought gold, ivory, salt and slaves from the sub – Saharan Africa to Marrakech. From that point, proceed to Telouet Kasbah, which belonged to the Lords of the Atlas, the family Glaoui, and now lies in ruins after the last Pasha fled the nation after the departure of the French.
    Continue to Marrakech along the main street, where we’ll traverse numerous Berber towns along the valley crossed the mountains. Sometimes you can go down in the valleys lined with fruit trees and oleander and oleander. The gardens are full of walnuts, pomegranates, olives, apples, pears and quinces.
