Itinerary

Day 1Marrakech - Marrakech

Meet your driver at the airport of Marrakech and drop off at a riad in Marakech.

Day 2Marrakech - Dades Gorges

We depart from Marrakesh and begin to climb the most astounding road of the High Atlas, Tizi n’Tichka, around 2260 meters height where snow persists almost throughout all year. A wonderful scene on a street that breezes through Atlas Berber towns. We keep on to explore the intriguing Dades Valley and its acclaimed Gorges. Visit the town of Kelaa M’gouna, well known for the yearly Rose Festival. This street is known as the street of a thousand Kasbahs, and you will absolutely have numerous chances to take remarkable photographs. Supper and overnight in a lodging in the Dades Gorges.

Day 3Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga

Today the voyage takes us to the mysterious Sahara desert. You’ll visit Erfoud and from that point we proceed off beaten track until the point when we arrive to our destination, a lovely auberge in the dunes of Erg Chebbi where you’ll spend the night.

Day 4Sahara Desert tour 4x4 around Merzouga - Camel trek night in Desert

This day is exceptionally given for a 4X4 tour around the area, going through some off-roads of the celebrated Lisbon – Dakar, we’ll have tea and see how a nomad family lives, visit the town of Khamlia, investigate the Oasis of Asil Habied and visit the greatest Lake of the area. Toward the evening, camel trekking to the bivouac, with a stop in the huge dune to see the dusk. Overnight in Auberge du Sud bivouac with camel trek in a typical Berber tent in the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Day 5Merzouga - Ouarzazate

This will be a remarkable morning, with the ability to climb the huge dunes and experience the extraordinary sunrise. After breakfast, return to the Auberge and depart to the Draa Valley and its stunning landscapes brimming with green oasis and Berber towns. At that point continue towards Ouarzazate, the main Berber city, known for its sensational mountains and desertic landscape surrounded by amazing valleys. Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. Visit the Ouarzazate studios where many movies were a success, for example, “Gladiator” or “Alexander the Great”. Supper and night remain in Riad.

Day 6Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Come back to Marrakech, after stopping to visit Ait Ben Haddou, which is constructed in the XIX Century, proclaimed as Unesco World Heritage. The most wonderful Kasbah of southern Morocco to some extent because of the interest devoted to the film business from the mid-sixties. Arrive to Marrakech and visit the city, the celebrated Mosque of Koutoubia from XII century, the Medina and its souks, and investigate some more of Marrakech’s secrets, like El Badi Palace, the mosque and Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school. The Saadian tombs, generally all preserved, which are the standout amongst the most beautiful iconic and for this reason they are the most visited by tourists today. The Bahia Palace, constructed in the XIX century, is another highlight and one of the finest examples of Muslim design of the old imperial capital.

Day 7Marrakech - Transfer to Airport

Depending on the time of flight, visit the Medina and its souks for some last minute shopping and transfer to the airport.
